Very helpful pics! Many other inaccuracies in the '07 VW Passat owner's manual for the fuse panal references. Has anyone found an accurate reference for all fuse panels? The dealer will not divulge, nor will VW America. Finding and replacing the cigarette lighter fuse cost me $55 at the dealer from whom I bought the car - still under factory mechanic09 Discussion starter. 3 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Jun 2, 2020. Check the hoses going into it, they both should be close to the same temp, with the inlet being very hot. If the inlet is hot and the outlet cool, heater core is plugged. gorgycuads. If you have a manual knob in selecting heat settings there is a cable attached to it towards your heater core/drier box where the plastic door is located that will allow you to open the door partially or fully open to let the air pass as your blower fan blows through it. If it is climatronic then it is electronically controlled. MlbY.
